Duplicate Base layer (if needed unlock first) apply hard unsharp mask values around  Amount 200 Radius 1.0 Threshold 0

Change Mode from Normal to Darken

Duplicate the Darken layer and change it to Lighten

Now you have two independent layers to play with usually looks best moving the lighten layer down to about 30 - 45% try it and experiment with different settings of Opacity.
